I’m Paul Littlebury — Quality Engineer and Tester, who has spent the last 25+ years helping teams ship better software through smarter testing, stronger automation, and a more human approach to quality.

I’m a big believer that quality isn’t something you “add on” at the end — it’s a mindset, a culture, and a way of working that improves everything from delivery speed to user satisfaction.

I build automation frameworks, embed tests into pipelines, improve reliability, coach teams, and explore systems deeply to uncover issues before users ever see them.

Current work

I’m currently working as a Conversational AI Quality Engineer for Acorn Compliance, where I ensure a compliance-focused chatbot is:

  • reliable
  • context-aware
  • accurate
  • accessible
  • and enjoyable to interact with

I design and run automation suites (Playwright, Mocha/Chai), monitor API health in real time, assess NLP behaviour, and evaluate tone, inclusiveness, and multi-turn logic.

A particular passion of mine is neurodivergent accessibility — ensuring the experience is clear, calm, and supportive for all users.

  • bet365 – rebuilt mobile UI/API test frameworks for Android and iOS
  • CGI – SDET Lead across four Scrum teams on a major Flutter banking app
  • Ceta Insurance – test strategies, UI/API automation, load testing, CI pipelines
  • Tele2 – quality engineering for a custom AI chatbot
  • DocComs, KPMG, Wowcher, TNT and many more across web, mobile, and enterprise systems
